Program Objectives

The overall goal of this program is to introduce the students to English language and literature. Participants will study the history of the English language as well as its contemporary aspects. The syllabus illustrates the use of the English language and its various applications in everyday life. Major topics covered include:

  • History of the English language
  • Contemporary English language studies
  • English literature

The objectives of the program are to develop the basic skills of the English language and literature and enable students to enhance their competencies in the academic and professional use of the language. It will further enable students to develop their critical and creative abilities while at the same time enabling them to improve the aesthetic of human quality.

On successful completion of the program the student will be able to work in many institutions including educational establishments, private sector organizations, public administrations, global companies, international organizations, etc.
