The PGDE is a two-semester (1 year) program whose objectives are to provide students with the knowledge, skills, techniques, and competencies in teacher education and their application to teaching in schools, training institutions, and other organizations. It prepares teachers, education instructors, managers, and planners to serve educational establishments, training institutions, and other organizations and provides quality education that adds value to society. Successful completion of the program will enable graduates to work as teachers in schools; they will also assume positions of responsibility as training instructors in a variety of public, private, and non-profit organizations.
